The activities that today lay in Cawatec Nordic ApS (CWT) can be dated back to 1920 where Jensen & Hamburger (later Mercantas A/S) became known for sales and consultancy in the candle plastic, chemical and technical industry. This has been the basis for the company's success.

On January 1^st, 2004 CWT bought the activities within the candle production sector from Mercantas A/S. The owners of CWT have both been employed a number of years by Mercantas A/S.

With this acquisition, the intention of being a total-supplier within the candle industry was already accomplished, and it is this concept that we continue today from our office at Skebjergvej 33, 2765 Smørum.

As the sole supplier in Scandinavia and Northern Europe, CWT offers a complete machine and raw material assortment to candle producers as well as consultancy based on many years of experience.
